Our Story
How Simply Wild Began
Simply Wild was born from a deeply personal journey — one rooted in resilience, transformation, and the quiet power of plants. After a routine surgery led to a serious infection, I found myself caught in a cycle of medications and doctor visits that left me feeling worse instead of better. Searching for relief, I turned to the natural world — and that’s where everything changed.
Through the study of herbalism and the use of organic, wildcrafted plants, I began to heal — not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. What started in my own kitchen as a handful of salves and balms for my family has blossomed into Simply Wild: a handcrafted line of herbal skincare and wellness products made with care, intention, and plant wisdom.
What We Believe
At Simply Wild, we believe in keeping things simple, effective, and rooted in wellness. No harsh chemicals. No synthetic fragrances. No shortcuts. Just the nurturing energy of wild plants and thoughtfully selected herbs, chosen for what they actually do — not how they sound on a label.
Every product is made using time-honored herbal wisdom and the purest ingredients from nature. Whether it’s soothing a patch of dry skin, nourishing hair, or offering a calming cup of tea at the end of a long day, our goal is the same: to support your everyday well-being with plants you can trust.
How We Make Our Products
Every jar, balm, and tea blend is handcrafted in small batches in Amy’s Kansas City kitchen. We infuse oils with organic and wildcrafted herbs for weeks, not hours, and source from trusted growers who share our care for the land. When you open a Simply Wild product, you’re opening something made by the person whose name is on the label — start to finish, with love and intention.
